Sometimes Old Style Is Best   Leave a comment

It’s been over a month since our last post featuring a slideshow. As I spelled out in that one, my bloghost (WordPress) seems to have cut down on the size of the pictures in the style of slideshow I was using, so I was trying a different type. That worked out okay but I think today I’ll go back to the old style, even though the pictures still look too small — but maybe that’s just me.

The subject matter is a series of ultra-realistic sculptures created by a talented artist named Ron Mueck. His creations are amazingly lifelike, but he purposely makes them smaller – or larger – than the real thing. (So people won’t start talking to them?) If you’d like to know more, here’s an article about him.
