Just A Lazy Afternoon   Leave a comment

Hope everyone is having a nice Memorial Day weekend. It’s a holiday that has different meanings and memoriesfor each of us. One of my happier times was the Indy 500 race that I attended for the first time in 1958. I was Mr. Cool personified — mirrored sunglasses, camera, and a cold Pepsi. What more could a guy want?

Whatever the holiday means to you, when all the dust settles the fact remains that it’s the first of the warm-weather holidays, and it provides an opportunity to get out and go places, or stay home and entertain friends, or maybe just spend some time in the backyard hammock.
