In those days they just possessed that "dreamy" sound. I can tell you I danced to their songs more than a few times in those days. A group with origins in my home state that I have always equated with The Fleetwoods was 'The Browns' (Jim Ed, Maxine and Bonnie) although they were always associated more with the country genre. Their path to pop fame was on about the same time-line. Always wondered if that was just pure coincidence or if one group perhaps influenced the other? :? Always been a fan of this group.
